This will be a long post and I have a yummy recipe to share with you, so sit back relax and enjoy this will be a picture heavy post.
We now have a lovely gas grill and WOW I love grilling!!
John and I were watching a burger grilling competition on Food Network. A lady made a stuffed burger that looked delish, well I decided I would try and make a stuffed cheeseburgers.
I took two pounds of ground beef and made patties that were on the thin side and a bit larger than normal.
On one patty I added 2 triangles of Laughing Cow Cheese
I fried up some bacon and chopped it into small pieces.....
Add the bacon.....
Then place a second patty on top of your first patty and season with Webers gourmet burgers seasoning...
Now season the other side of the big burger....Mash the two patties together just a little bit. Now throw those bad boys on the grill.
Be sure and cook them slow, because you are cooking two patties. Then melt some American cheese on them if you wish.
Instead of using ketchup I used this yummy stuff.....
This is what the finished product looked like...
Holy shiznat! It was about the best burger I have ever tasted... Yes you can now call me Bobbette Flay!!!
One of the officers I work with has a new baby boy. I made a diaper cake for the little munchkin. I am not happy with the way it turned out, because I did not have enough blue ribbon to use and had to use yellow, so to me it just looks a little off, but here it is anyway.
I found a place that does personalized pacifiers, are they not the cutest!!
On the 4th of July at the lake with the family for Hunter's 11th birthday. Yep I said 11th birthday!!!!
I took Salem with me to see if she would swim and OH MY GAWD she loved the water.....Why yes I have pictures of it to share....
Isn't she a cutie!!
The birthday boy got a cell phone for his birthday and boy was he so excited!!!! This picture is of him calling his papa sitting across from him. I LOVE this picture because I have not seen my dad smile like that since his stroke last August.
A little history about the hat that Hunter is wearing. He has wore that hat every birthday since his first birthday!
Since I have a cupcake addition I told Deanna that I would make the cupcakes for his birthday. I had found the cutest cupcakes that looked like red, white & blue fireworks. So Brandon brought me a 5 gallon bucket of buttercream frosting and we were off to decorating the cupcakes. I made over 36 so I was thankful that Brandon was there to help me.
This is the original cupcake. I was trying to copy.
This is how my cupcakes turned out.
So now I am going to do a little bragging. I have to say these two are the most beautiful kids I have ever seen..
I am also very lucky to have a beautiful and amazing sister!
That is about all I have to share for tonight. I will be working on a project for Deanna in the next few weeks, so I will share it with you when I am finished with it.
until next time
xoxo
